A MODERN tie on barstone weight, for use with today's experimental and sport atlatls. It is made in Wyoming Jade and ground to a mass of around 62 grams.  A tie on weight with a mass between 60 and 80 grams has been shown to influence tuning on flexible atlatl shafts, and is easily adjustable as it adapts to almost any size shaft with grooves for lashing without glue. Designed to fit most modern sport throwers around 2 feet long and flexible. Measurements about 4.25  inches long and about a 1/2 inch wide.
